RESOURCES
AND REFERENCES TO HELP REVERSE THE DECISION
An excellent booklet by Phil Whitten, Executive Director of the College Swimming
Coaches Association of America, on how the University of
Washington saved their swim team. This is an Adobe Acrobat (pdf) file that may
have to be downloaded and then opened on your computer.
This is a pdf
file that will probably open in your browser. You can then download it to
your computer for further reading. It is a big file - Over 400 pages.
Full of outstanding resources beneficial to both women and men student
athletes. This organization advocates sports opportunities for girls and
women but strongly states that it does not support elimination of boys and men's
sports in the process.
